Being a food founder is a ride, isn’t it?
The vision, the grind, and constant dance between running the business and growing it… But when you’re overextended and the pace never slows, “good enough” becomes the standard.
That’s why Garnish exists: to make running a food business feel lighter and sustainable for food founders and the ecosystems that support them.
Hey y’all; I’m Lauren.
Founder of Garnish & Your Partner in Growth
I know what it’s like when the brilliance of your food is met with the chaos of growth…
As the founder of a pop-up dining company, I lived that rhythm of creating, leading, and keeping up with demand, and learned firsthand that passion alone isn’t enough to sustain a business that lasts.
I’ve also spent over a decade designing systems, managing teams, and leading operations across multi-million-dollar restaurants, organizations, and nonprofits. Along the way, I realized an unfortunate truth: access to operational support is often out of reach for founders building legacies through their work — especially for black and community-rooted entrepreneurs.
That’s why I created Garnish: to help close the gap between passion and infrastructure to give founders the support their impact deserves.
We believe your operations should be as intentional as your food…
built to sustain your legacy and give you space to enjoy the business you’ve worked so hard to build.
