Hi y’all, I’m Lauren

Mastermind and Chief of Getting it Done at Garnish

Being a food entrepreneur is something, isn’t it? The early mornings, late nights, and passion it takes to create something meaningful for others… As the former founder of a pop-up dining company, I know that rhythm well. I also know what it’s like when you can’t focus on your business because you’re too involved in your businessSound familiar?

I launched my pop-up because I’m passionate about food…the way it builds community, carries culture, and nourishes us inside and out… And for two years, I brought that passion to life through curated experiences for creative entrepreneurs and small business owners. Those events didn’t just fill plates—they opened doors: catering gigs, collaborations, even co-hosting a podcast on food justice and Black foodways.

But it’s my decade of experience in strategy development, systems design, program launches, team leadership, and operations management across multi-million dollar restaurants, businesses, and nonprofits that taught me what it really takes to grow a business: having the right strategy, systems, and support that reflect who you are, how you work, and the people you serve.

As business owners, we don’t always have the space to build that kind of backend, especially if, like me, you’re responsible for wearing all the hats in your business. That’s why I created Garnish — to help other food entrepreneurs build intentional operations that support what they love and lead to a profitable, lasting business.

Let’s work together to feed your passion and your future.
